My name is Denys and I'm glad you're here. My hoof care passion has been an amazing learning path for me. Over the years I've got to help hundreds of horses maintain their health and soundness and help their owners understand the complexity of the hoof and what we should take into

consideration when trimming it.

Professional Development

Former training

I apprenticed with a barefoot trimmer and decided to start my own journey in the hoof and horse world. I saw the need for a farrier in my area and this job became a passion very quickly.

Continuing education

I'm a constant seeker of knowledge! If you know me, then you know I like to stay up to date on all the research. Im a mentee of Daisy Bicking. I took her Foundation Trimming Course, been to her clinics and rode along with her to trim horses. I'm also a member of the PHCP (Progressive Hoof Care Practitioners).

Hands-on experience and sharing the knowledge

Im not stopping there! Hands-on experience in the field is VERY important and that's why im working with so many animals, to help them and to gain the knowledge. Im sharing this knowledge with the world in my posts and articles!
